Princess Anne and Sophie 'didn't acknowledge' Harry at funeral and are 'very upset'

Several members of the royal family "failed to acknowledge" Prince Harry at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral as they "think he has behaved appallingly", it has been claimed.  The Duke of Sussex flew back to the UK following his grandfather's death and joined other members of The Firm to walk behind his coffin during Saturday's event.  While he was seen chatting to brother Prince William and Kate, an insider has said things have been "frosty" with other family members since he returned to Windsor to self-isolate.  Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie Wessex reportedly didn't speak or even acknowledge him at all, claims the Mail on Sunday.  A source told the newspaper: "Ironically the only one who has expressed any sympathy towards him is Prince Andrew. He knows from Sarah Ferguson and now first-hand how it feels to be the outsider, which Harry very much is.  As far as the others are concerned, there is a deep sense of protection towards the Queen and resentment towards Harry. There is little sympathy for him after what he and Meghan said on Oprah.  They are still very upset. They are putting on a united front for the Queen. They all think he has behaved appallingly."

However Harry did speak to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the trio walked together from the chapel to the private apartments.  After the service Charles signalled for the cars due to drive them back to drive on, deciding that the family would walk the short trip instead.  Kate dropped back to allow the brothers to talk alone, which many experts believe gave them the opportunity to break the tension.  Charles, William and Harry reportedly spoke for two-hours after the funeral, the first time they have been together since Meghan Markle and Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.  Analysing the moment Harry walked out the church, body language expert Judi James told The Mirror : "On the way out after the service Harry walked last in the line from his side of the pews and appeared to avoid all eye contact with the other royals, even Sophie and her daughter, who appeared to be waiting to eye-greet him as he walked past.  He was carrying his service programme nervously and even tapped it on the side of his leg as he waited in what could have been seen as a gesture of silent impatience, hinting that he was finding the moments with the royal group difficult.  It was only when the service was over and the royal left that we finally saw Harry eye-check William and then walk up between William and Kate to chat. Kate fell back to talk to another party, leaving the two brothers walking alone talking in the moment of possible reconciliation that we had all be hoping for."
